Memo

From the Director's Desk

Chiropractic was founded on the principle that the body has an innate ability to heal itself when given the correct environment to do so. As the profession has developed and as different schools began to educate chiropractors, all with the same philosophy but perhaps with different interpretations, the inclusion of a variety of natural arts has become prominent and shared.

Why You Think Your Associate Is an Idiot

It is interesting that I field about three calls per week from senior doctors ranting and raving about how his or her associate is an idiot. It also amazes me that I get about six calls per week from young, extremely talented associates who think their employer is an idiot.

My first chiropractors saw themselves as whole-body healers with practices that routinely achieved miracles of healing, especially in a wide variety of medical incurable conditions.

Maintaining Positive Cash Flow in the Midst of the ICD-10 Transition

The Bidirectional Gut-Brain/ Brain-Gut Axis New Findings: Neuro/Microbiota Colloquy and Holistic Healing

Research points directly to a new foundational health process that is specifically germane to chiropractic, and a fortuitous opportunity to broaden the scope of practice to provide deeper, more lasting patient health benefits. It’s the bidirectional relationship between the intestinal microbiota (all microbial inhabitants) and the neural regulatory network1.
